Christmas Home Tour

I absolutely love decorating up for Christmas, it's literally one of the highlights of the festive period for me (sad, I know!). I just love choosing my colour scheme every festive season, and decorating up my home to celebrate the best time of the year. So I just thought I'd share some pictures of how I've decorated my home for the festive season, and I hope this gives you some Christmas interior ideas that you can apply to your own home this year.
I've gone with a gold and white theme this year, adn decorated my tree with warm white lights, and a selection of bargain baubles from Next Home and a scattering of six polka dot baubles which I treated myself to from Gisela Graham. I'm also a huge fan of updating my home for different seasons, and so have added this 'Winter Wishes' cushion, which is currently in the sale at Sainsbury's.

To jazz up my TV cabinet, I've draped a pine cone garland and lights, and added a light-up ceramic house from Homebase.

Over in the corner of the lounge, I've decorated my shelves with a Merry Christmas sign, which I picked up from This Modern Life.

In my hallway I've gone a bit wreath-mad with three of them - one with more of an autumnal feel, and a silver bell wreath, both from Laura Ashley, and more of a traditional one from a local garden centre.

I've also created a christmassy display by making some mini wrapped-up presents to go in this glass tree from One World Trading Company- along with yet more fairy lights, because you can never have enough can you?!

My stairway area is somewhere I always struggle to style due to the fact we have very high ceilings, and receives little light, so I've tried to combat this with an LED wreath which I picked up for half price in the Sainsbury's January sale last year, and I've linked three garlands and some fairy lights from The Range around the banisters.

Hope this has provided you with some inspiration when decorating up your home this Christmas. What colour scheme are you going for this year?

Thanks for reading,
Sam Xx
