Update your home for Autumn 2017 for under £20

Update your home for autumn/winter with decor and decorations from the high street on a budget. Copper, grey, mustard and burnt orange. Fall DIY room ideas.

I don't know about you but as soon as the end of the summer rolls around I'm officially in Autumn/Winter mode, which serves as the perfect excuse for a little home revamp! While I don't think I can get away with getting the decs up just yet, there are a few updates you make to embrace the changing season without breaking the bank. So I've trawled through the high street (any excuse!) so you don't have to, picking out some of my favourite new season bits to give your home an Autumnal update, all for under £20.

Under £10

Greys, oranges and golds are big this season, so how about adding some new cushions to your sofa? I'm a huge fan of Asda's homewares, and you can't go wrong with their bargain £5 velvet cushions which come in so many gorgeous colours - my fave being this stunning honey shade which I've got my eye on to add a bit of colour to our bedroom. It's never too early to start thinking about Halloween too, but your home doesn't need to be all plastic bats and cobwebs - how stylish is that gold pumpkin?!

There's nothing more autumnal than curling up in a cosy lounge with a blanket, a pom pom cushion and flickering candlelight from a lantern? Copper seems to be big again this season - how amazing is that beaut of a globe?! I've also got my eye on the marble storage jar from Sainsbury's (soon to be in store), perhaps to hold tealights, or, more likely, some sort of chocolate snack. Well whats the point in curling up on the sofa if you haven't got a bar of Galaxy to go with it?!

Finally, why not add some autumnal flowers, like this faux display from Sainsbury's? The star decoration is just subtle enough to add a Christmassy touch without my hubby noticing, and my sofa is crying out for that tassel cushion of dreams...
