Update your home for Christmas for £15 or under

Cheap Christmas decor ideas on a budget

Last month I blogged about ways to update your home for Autumn for £15 or less, and had so much fun putting the post together I thought I'd do the same featuring my pick of the Christmas decorations currently available on high street! If you're anything like me you'll be dying to get the decs out (I'm holding out until this weekend!), and although I've got some lovely bits, I always feel the need to add to them with some pretty new pieces!

So grab a cuppa, sit back and have a nose through some of the best, budget-friendly ways you can update your home for the festive season - without breaking the bank!

£5 and under
Primark Home is a great place to start if you've only got a few pounds to spend on decor - I'm totally in love with this stag candle, looks so expensive! Another go-to is Wilko, you can't go wrong with baubles for 75p each can you?! Other cool ideas to 'festive-up' your home is this super cute Santa doormat, and I've recently discovered Culinary Concepts London, who do the most gorgeous tree decorations like this stunning acorn.

£10 and under

What's more festive than the smell of Christmas baking?! This Yankee candle can give you that (without all the hard work!), and for a bargain price at TK Maxx. Also, it's not Christmas without a wreath on the door to welcome visitors - and at £10 this artifical one can come out every year. Finally, how cute is that nutcracker?!

I'm a huge fan of a garland, and have one wrapped around my stair banister - but I love the idea of draping one along a fireplace, like this absolute bargain from B&M Stores. Also, don't forget to think about how you will be styling your table for the big day - what about some beautiful wintery peonies, or tall church candles in those amazing gold star holders? Finally, how lovely is that mini artifical Christmas tree?! Perfect for jazzing up another room, or perhaps standing outside your front door, draped with some fairy lights.
