HOW is it this time of year again? This year has just flown by hasn't it, and somehow here I am again trawling through all the Christmas decorations on the high street so you don't have to! I'm strictly a gold and white kind of girl - last years Christmas home tour is here - but I've split all my finds up into different colour schemes depending on the look you're going for this year. And there's some seriously amazing bits here - because as usual, everything is just £20 or less.
If you're new around here, I write a post like this every season - in my 'Update your home for £20' series. So without further ado, here's my pick of the best budget decorations available on the high street this Christmas - there's over 80 to choose from!
Gold
Always my go-to, I just love how warm a gold theme makes everything look. I found some cute bottle brush trees last year, so have got my eye on some of those honeycomb ones this year - wouldn't they look cool displayed on a side table with some string lights scattered around?

White & Silver
I know I said I'm a strictly gold and white girl, but all these beautiful bits are making me want to swap to silver this year! A really simple way of getting your living room Christmas-ready is to add some festive cushions - how sweet is that tree one from Matalan?! And I've fallen a little bit in love with that moose jar from TKMaxx too! The perfect place to hide some chocolates away from little fingers?!

Red
You can't get more festive than a red decor theme can you? And there's so many simple bits here to easily transform your home into a Christmas grotto. I've got my eye on that beautiful berry stem to create a display perhaps on my TV stand? And a couple of those stockings would look perfect hung over a fireplace.

Black
If you're going for a scandi theme this Christmas then some of these bits would be absolutely perfect for creating that look. Hang some of those paper stars from your banister, and drape that cute banner on your mantle piece for a classic yet festive style. I absolutely love the idea of those chalkboard baubles too - maybe get your kids to write their names or draw a Christmassy picture on them?

Multi-coloured
And finally for something a bit fun - how about decorating up with a multi-coloured theme? This is not something I'd ever really considered before, but how cute are some of these bits?! It would be really easy to add to every year too, as any bright colour goes! Plus who could resits that little cactus decoration...
