Friday Faves Inspiration: Lovely Living Rooms

Friday on the blog is always all about the beautiful homes I've been crushing on recently, and every week I'll be running my Friday Faves - featuring a few of your beautiful homes plus some images I've been drawing inspiration from over the past few days.

This week I'm looking at living rooms, and how one of the most important rooms in a home can be used to reflect your personal style, as well as creating a relaxing and cosy atmosphere fit for the whole family.

1. First up this week is this absolute beauty from the lovely @petitartworld - how cute is her fox cushion?! I love the cozy autumnal feel in here, looks like the perfect place to spend the evening once the darker nights draw in. I'm a total sucker for a radiator cover too, and this one finishes off this space wonderfully. 

2. I was so glad when Jill from @homeatrosecottage shared her picture this week as I've been admiring the creativity of her ladder shelf for a while! What a genius way to display all her beautiful decor, and I love the way it extends around the corner of the room, perfectly complimenting the shape of her lovely corner sofa. Also, how light and airy does this room look too? Love the colours she's chosen for her soft furnishings. 

3. This beautiful country cottage lounge was shared by Karen (@kaygeeinsta) - how dreamy is her fireplace?! I would kill for one like that in my lounge, especially with the ceiling beams too, I can just imaging curling up on the sofa with the fire roaring in the winter. I love the decor she's chosen too, which compliments this style beautifully - how perfect are the vintage books for this room?! 

4. As I've mentioned before I've gone a bit crazy for grey recently, so absolutely love @threeboysandahome's lounge. I've got one of these barn stars, but love the way the two fit perfectly in the space above the sofa. The chevron cushions finish off this space perfectly too, and how snuggly does that rug look?! My little four-legged friend would go mad for it! 

5. Next up is Ashleigh's (@ashleighlouiseshaw) lovely lounge. I'm in absolutely obsessed with her gorgeous TV stand and love the idea of putting the cushion underneath it - I've been trying to think of a way to hide all my unsightly wires for a while so this is genius! I also really like the monochrome colours she's gone for with the rest of her accessories, and how cute do the pictures of her family look on the fireplace?! Really adds a personal touch. 

6. Last up this week is this absolute stunner of a lounge from Jenni (@jennimcmillan85). I love everything about this gorgeous corner, particularly that amazing mirror! The colours here create such a relaxing feel - I can't think of anything better than curling up in this chair with a cuppa and a book. Also how sweet is that giraffe?!
