With the exception of my annual Boxing Day Ferrero Rocher binge, I think decorating up my home has to be my favourite part of the festive season. Is there anything more exciting than getting your tree up and finally feeling like Christmas is on its way?! This year I've gone with a white and gold theme, and now I'm all finished with my decorating I thought I'd share my Christmas home makeover.
I've popped another mini artificial tree on the coffee table, and kept things simple on the already quite busy TV stand with a pine cone garland (similar one here).
In my hallway I've added some festive touches with a twig wreath I found last year in the sales at Sainsbury's (no longer online but I found a similar one here), as well as a cute nutcracker from Tesco, and my Autumnal display which despite costing me pennies to make, is still going strong! (I blogged about how I put this together last year) My main feature out here is the garland that adorns the banister - a complete nightmare to put up every year, I'm not going to lie, but definitely worth the hassle as I think it creates such a lovely, cosy glow.
Finally, I'm sure you'll agree every front door needs a wreath! And while life has got in the way a bit this year and I've not been able to get hold of a beautiful real one, I love the way this Laura Ashley bell wreath looks on my door.
What theme have you gone for in your home this year?
Thanks for reading,
Sam Xx
