#dovecottagemyfaveroom: Olivia's Christmassy home

Each Friday on the blog it's all about the beautiful homes I'm inspired by in my feature 'My Fave Room'. If you'd like to enter upload a photo over on Instagram of your favourite room in your home, using the #dovecottagemyfaveroom, and I'll be focusing on one each week. So without further ado, here's this week's room - the lovely Olivia's (@me.myhome.and.isla) christmassy home. I've previously featured Olivia's beautiful conservatory, however thought it would be nice to have another look round complete with a Christmassy makeover... 


Christmas decor should definitely start before you even get in the house! How pretty is this wreath?  Goes perfectly with that beautiful country-style door too - look at that knocker! Door goals right there.

There's nothing quite like a real Christmas tree is there? (Damn you husband's allergies!) And doesn't Olivia's fit that space absolutely perfectly? Also, how organised is she with presents already wrapped under there?!

I think my favourite part of decorating up is deciding on my table decor (I shared how I styled mine for Christmas lunch last year here), and I absolutely LOVE Olivia's. I'm absolutely obsessed with eucalyptus at the mo, so love this simple centrepiece she's put together.

You can't go wrong with some Emma Bridgewater on display - and what better than having some Christmassy versions can you? Imagine getting up on Christmas morning and having a cuppa in one of those gorgeous robin mugs!

 

Isn't this such a cosy, christmassy space?! This is a really lovely way for styling a fireplace too, particularly as an alternative to an open fire. The logs create a country feel, with the fairy lights adding a cosy touch.

Finally, I couldn't not include this picture of Olivia's cute dog Benji! He's got the right idea settling down in this cosy corner hasn't he.
