1. Take a break
Go for a walk, visit a local tourist attraction, or even just drive a new route home. Take photos of anything and everything you find beautiful along the way - it might not result in a new post, and you may never look at the photos ever again, but it always helps me to get some creativity flowing
2. Read, read, read
I find reading some of my favourite blogs and remembering why I decided to start my own in the first place always inspires new ideas
3. Revamp old posts
Just because you've already written on a topic it doesn't mean you can't go there again. Revisit some of the first blog posts you ever wrote to see if you can improve them at all - perhaps re-take the photos, remove any broken links and add any new knowledge you now have on the topic
I've been struck down with extreme cases of Bloggers Block more times than I'd like to admit, so decided to put together my own content calendar, complete with both seasonal ideas for blog posts each month, and all the national awareness days you'll need to schedule content around. Because what's better to get your creative juices flowing than National Chip Week?!
Thanks for reading,
Sam Xx
