Six different ways to style a bar cart in your home

Bar carts are big news right now - I DIY-ed my own over the summer and can't wait until the sun returns so I can finally wheel it out into the garden again. But they needn't be just for Christmas parties - I've found three ways in which you can style a cart around your home...


Drinks trolley

First things first, you can't go wrong with a mini-bar in your lounge can you?! Style it with some pretty glassware and tropical themed accessories and you're onto a winner.

Hot drink station
Expecting guests for lunch? Make use of your cart in the daytime by having it hold the teas, coffees and hot chocolates. At least until it's acceptable to get the Gin out, anyway...

Bedside table 
A quirky alternative to the classic IKEA bedside tables - and a sure-fire way of making your face creams and alarm clock look glam.

Bathroom storage 
All those bottles of shampoos and soap looking messy on the side of the bath? Why not style them on your cart to create a luxurious hotel-chic look.

Plant stand
Isn't this a genius use of a bar cart - and would look amazing in a conservatory or on the patio, for example.

This is an absolutely genius idea if you're short on space in your kitchen - particularly if you've got some awkward wasted space under your worktops.
