Yes its that time of year again! I've previously shared a home Christmas tour for the last few years (have a look at 2016 and 2017 here if you want to see how things have changed!), so couldn't wait to decorate up last week. Things look quite different in the lounge this year, our coffee table is no more (those pesky little fingers!) and was replaced with a radiator cover in the summer, so more space to faff with!
Apart from that I've tried to keep it more simple this year. A combination of lots of plastic crap already making the small lounge feel cluttered, meant I couldn't face getting ALL of my bits out this year. Maybe when we're in a bigger house some of my other things will make a return!
We've still got the same tree, a 6ft one that we picked up in the Dunelm sale a few years ago, and this year I've gone with pretty much the same white and gold theme as I've done previously with some glass baubles from Gisela Graham paired with some small tree decorations and some cheaper baubles from Sainsbury's for lower down the tree (again, those pesky fingers at work!)
Over on the new radiator cover I've styled an artificial garland and some fairy lights, also both from Dunelm, with a pretty tree-shaped candle from Sainsbury's. On the TV stand is a pine cone garland I picked up from a garden centre a couple of years ago, with some bottle brush trees I found for a bargain price of £2 each in Hobbycraft.
Thanks for reading,
Sam Xx
