My dream living room
It probably comes as no surprise, but in my dream lounge I’d go for a neutral theme, with pops of colour and natural wood through the accessories and flooring. I'd go for a neutral style theme with a herringbone parquet floor, adding some plants for a natural touch, and a gallery wall to add interest. I’d also love a fireplace with a cosy log burner and traditional style mantle. Oh and one day I'll have space for a corner sofa...

My dream kitchen
The room I'd love to have a go at designing the most, I’m not gonna lie, I know exactly what I’d go for as it’s something I’ve put a lot of thought into over the years. I’ve tried to DIY my very old and tired kitchen into a more country style, but if I was moving into my dream home (and obviously money wasn’t an option!) I’d go for a traditional country shaker-style complete with patterned floor tiles and quartz worktops. Oh and of course you need an Aga in your a dream kitchen too - you can tell I've got a bit carried away with this one can't you...

My dream bathroom would be quite traditional in style too, I'd love a rolltop bath and basin with washstand. Again I'd go for patterned floor tiles, complimented by simpler wall tiles. I've chosen some accessories in complimentary shades for a pop of colour, and a big mirror, which is always a good way of bouncing light around the room.

My dream bedroom
I had a little more trouble deciding on my dream bedroom look, as I change my mind a lot, but I'd go for a panelled-style room with a deep coloured bed acting as a contrast to the lighter shade on the walls. A berber style rug would add an element of cosiness, and the feature lighting ties the theme together. I've also included a boucle armchair for the added texture, and how beautiful are those prints?! My dream dining room
Finally, my dream home would have a proper dining room (we currently use our fairly impractical conservatory as a dining space!) In here I'd love some more parquet flooring, contrasting against the neutral coloured dining set. I'd display some pretty bits and bobs in a dresser or cabinet, and would add feature lighting above the table. The green colour I’ve gone for on the walls is slightly bolder than some of the other rooms, however choosing a half-painted style (one of my faves!) ensures you retain some of the lighter tones too. I’m actually a bit obsessed with the green and rust tones together, now to see where I can squeeze that combo in somewhere…
Are you living in your forever home? Do you like to dream about what yours would look like?
