Its time for another of my £50 room revamps, where I put together some budget updates for every room in the house.
This time I'm focusing on a baby's nursery. When you're expecting, it can seem like you need to spend a fortune designing a nursery - I found it very overwhelming when I was pregnant with my daughter. However, whatever budget you have, there's lots you can do to create a beautiful space for your precious new arrival.
So keep reading for ideas on what you could do to revamp a nursery, even if you've only got a few pounds to spend. I've picked a gender-neutral colour theme/style, but this is just to give you some ideas of what you can do with your budget.
Please note: I have priced up these items according to my daughter's rather modest-sized 2.3m x 3m bedroom, so bear that in mind if you're blessed with a bigger one! I've also not included labour costs for things like laying a new floor, as they can vary greatly according to where you are in the country.

Nursery budget: £250
If you've got a little more money to play with there's loads you could do to revamp the space. Choosing a new cot and wardrobe doesn't have to cost a fortune, and add some much-needed storage through pretty baskets. If replacing the flooring isn't an option, adding a large rug is always a good idea - how perfect is that lion face for this scheme?! I've added the exact shelves I've got in my daughters room as they're a fab way of storing books, and at just £3 they're a complete bargain. Just search for 'spice racks' in IKEA - might sound strange, but I promise they're the perfect size! Finally add some interest to the wall space through a wall hanging and print.

Nursery budget: £500
If you've got £500 spare, then you could upgrade your flooring, and add some feature lighting to really transform the space. I've found some more storage, as you can never have enough where children are involved, and couldn't resist adding that cute camera toy in there too, as isn't it perfect for this look?! Finally, I've found some prints to create a gallery wall - always my go-to when faced with a blank wall.

Nursery budget: £750
And finally, if you've got a budget of £750 you can add a comfy rocking armchair, perfect for those middle-of-the-night feeds. A new chest of drawers will provide some more additional storage, and I chose these as I thought the top looked like it might be the perfect space to hold a changing mat if you don't have space for a changing table? A large rug can tie your theme together perfectly. If you've got the space, a bookcase like the one I've picked out is perfect for displaying your favourite bedtime reads, and those cute mini drawers would be perfect for keeping small bits handy - such as hair bobbles or dummies etc. And finally, who doesn't need a stuffed llama head on their bedroom wall?!
