Autumn is upon us (not sure but how we're here again, but nevermind!) so its time for one of my favourite blog posts of the year - budget ideas for updating your home for the new season. I like to add some new touches to my decor - but all on a very tight budget, of course. You don’t need to redo an entire room, changing a candle/cushion or two can go a long way to refresh a space.

September isn’t one of my favourites to be honest, I’m too much of a Summer lover, so don’t enjoy the cooler weather coming in, and always get that back-to-school feeling. However, you can’t deny that Autumnal colours really are beautiful, and there’s loads of examples of that throughout this seasons trends, from lots of wicker to dried flowers, deep browns to bold accent pieces.
So without further ado, here's how to update your home for Autumn, with over 60 pieces from the high street - for under £20.
£10 and under
There’s so many bargain bits here - hasn’t Primark really nailed in this season?! I’m particularly on the lookout for those gold arch photo frames, to match a much more expensive, but almost identical one, I treated myself to a few months ago. I’m still obsessed with all things boucle, so absolutely love that cushion in the top right. And how lovely is the sunshine soap dispenser and toothbrush holder?! Would make a perfect pop of colour in any bathroom.

£15 and under
Firstly, I’m absolutely obsessed with that beautiful daisy cushion - how perfect would that look in a nursery or on a bench in the hallway? You could pop that wave candlestick on your dining table, topped off with some Autumnal coloured candles - in a rust or deep green shade. I’m still not over dried flowers, so can just picture that beautiful wreath on my front door, and chuck one of those throws over your sofa for an instant seasonal update.

£20 and under
Finally, I’m in love with absolutely everything in this mood board. From the beautiful two-tone vase (imagine it filled with pampas or dried grass!), to the acorn chopping board. And that beautiful mirror (seriously what a bargain!), I feel like I’ve got a home for all of these beautiful bits.
